New Call for Papers - Conference - Travel/Research Grant
"From Rebellion to Revolution: Dynamics of Political Change"
16th Berlin Roundtables on Transnationality, October 17 – 20, 2012, WZB
Over the last two years, peaceful demonstrations as well as violent revolts have swept away autocratic regimes and challenged long standing nepotistic elites. In spite of political and scholarly sceptisicm, revolution has once more provided an efficient instrument for political change. Or hasn't it? In the light of recent developments, the 16th Berlin Roundtables want to analyze revolutionary processes, their causes, and outcomes.

New Winners of the Irmgard Coninx Research Grant
The jury of the 15th Berlin Roundtables on Transnationality "Borders and Borderlands: Contested Spaces Between States" has selected three conference participants for the research grant:
